Someday I am going to write my own FM&M script. The basic plot will be that a movie production company is coming to Wistful Vista, and they are looking for local residents to be extras. Naturally, Fibber is interested, and when Molly asks him about his acting experience, Fibber claims that he was once considered for the role of George Bailey in ' It's A Wonderful Life'. Specifically he says in his trademark alliterative way:

“Aw, gee, Molly -- didn't I ever tell you about the time my brother left me to run the bank that my father had built? Left Bank McGee, they called me. Left Bank McGee, the busiest banker in Bedford Falls, berated as a boy by a bottle-belting boss who I bailed out of a bust, beltin’ out ‘Buffalo Bill’ with a beautiful babe, begged to be on the board of the building and loan, befriending blue-collar buddies who borrowed to pay bills, bustin' a bank run with a bundle from my bride, belittling brash businessmen who wanted to buy my brains, building bedrooms in a big boarded-up abode, believed to be a bum at Bailey’s boarding house, bloodied in a barroom brawl, battling Bert on the bridge, brought back from the brink before bounding to my death, but bring on the beat, boys, because I’m out of breath!” bride with big bust
